Conference & Banqueting Manager - Luxury Hotel

5 Days over 7 Days (including some weekends and Bank Holidays)
We are currently seeking a dedicated
Conference & Banqueting Manager
to join our team on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience in a similar role, outstanding communication skills, and a keen attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will take pride in delivering personalised service to our guests and contribute to the smooth operation of our conference and banqueting services.

Key Responsibilities of a Conference & Banqueting Manager:
Provide prompt, professional, and personalised guest service at all times.
To monitor and oversee the conference and banqueting service, to ensure efficient, friendly and professional service is provided at all times in line with agreed Hotel and RCH Service Standards
Ensure the team maintains a thorough understanding of Conference & Banqueting menus, as well as the beverage offerings, including bar and wine lists.
Be present on the floor during service periods to oversee operations and ensure service quality.
Ensure all food and beverage products are served according to company standards and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
To monitor performance, training, coaching & developing the team to deliver the level of service required.
To address any underperformance in line with relevant policies & procedures
To assist in completing stock controls and implementing cost controls within the operation.
Participate in training and development activities within the department, while actively promoting suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest experience.
What are we looking for?
Previous experience in a Conference & Banqueting Mangerial role or similar position.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
Proactive, well-organised, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Enjoys working as part of a team and contributing to the department's success.
Knowledgeable about food and beverage service and strives for excellence in all aspects of guest interaction.
