Job Summary:The KYB Analyst will be responsible for performing thorough due diligence on business clients and corporate entities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, prevent financial crime, and mitigate risks. This role involves analysing company structures, verifying ownership, assessing risks, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in compliance, risk management, or financial services.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough verification and due diligence on corporate clients, including ownership structures, beneficial owners, and regulatory compliance.Assess risks associated with clients' business operations, financial activity, and geographic location.Review and analyse corporate documentation such as incorporation documents, shareholder registers, and regulatory filings.Maintain and update KYB records in internal systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.Identify suspicious activity or red flags and escalate appropriately according to AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and compliance procedures.Collaborate with internal teams, including Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Operations, to support onboarding and ongoing monitoring processes.Stay up to date with local and international regulations, sanctions lists, and industry best practices.Prepare reports and present findings to management or regulatory authorities as required.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including AML, CTF (Counter-Terrorist Financing), and sanctions compliance.Excellent analytical and research skills with a high attention to detail.Proficiency in using KYB/KYC software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and stakeholder interaction.Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
