To work on a range of fast paced new build, commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects, largely for global occupier clients. Our clients enjoy working with us and our aim is to exceed all of their expectations in providing a Best-in-class service.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLead end‑to‑end cost management for real estate projects, covering budgeting, forecasting, procurement, risk, quality and close‑out across the full project lifecycle.Manage project funding administration, ensuring all work is fully funded and compliant with client and internal financial systems and policies.Develop and manage project budgets and cost plans, including feasibility, concept, pre‑bid and pre‑construction estimates.Oversee estimating resources and services; review outputs, manage performance and integrate estimates into the overall cost strategy.Support leasing and project teams with lease‑related cost advice (TI, abatement, reinstatement) and ensure contracts align with lease requirements.Lead procurement cost activities, including tender strategy, bid analysis, leveling and recommendation reporting.Produce and maintain detailed cost plans, cash flow forecasts and regular cost reports aligned to the project schedule.Drive value engineering as a continuous process, tracking savings and value outcomes against targets.Review and reconcile change orders and invoices; manage cost risk, advise on mitigation strategies and ensure cost compliance.Manage third‑party cost consultants and resources, ensuring performance, delivery and continuous improvement.Management ResponsibilitiesProvide direct supervision to team members within a functional area, including performance management, coaching and development.Support recruitment, selection, promotion and disciplinary actions, making recommendations in line with company policy.Plan and manage staffing levels and resource utilization, including oversight of overtime where required.Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to support individual and team development.Mentor and coach team members to build capability, engagement and succession.Lead by example, demonstrating behaviors aligned with company values and leadership standards.Bring prior experience in a supervisory or team leadership role, with responsibility for direct and/or indirect reports.Person Specification/RequirementsGood appreciation of quantity surveying matters being able to understand the basics of the local and wider property markets;Demonstrable experience within a similar role;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to present a professional and knowledgeable persona;Able to work as part of a team, supporting and working with colleagues and sister departments;Build, develop and maintain existing business and client relationships;
