Job Description
As a Team Lead in our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for championing efficiency and precision. You will uphold the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and safety while connecting with suppliers, management, and fellow team members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Champion efficiency and precision in store operations
* Uphold the highest standards - quality, hygiene, and safety are paramount
* Connect and collaborate with suppliers, management, and fellow team members for seamless operations
* Manage chemical usage and ensure everything is handled correctly
* Take charge of machinery maintenance and upkeep
* Lead vaccination and flock health monitoring, ensuring top-tier standards
* Organize and track blood, salmonella, and health testing to safeguard the well-being of poultry
* Occasionally handle fumigation duties (if trained to do so)
* Step up as a leader in managerial absences, taking responsibility for the team
* Ensure team adherence to company policies and maintain discipline
* Assist with stores and deliveries, supporting overall site efficiency
Work Environment:
This isn't a desk job - it's a hands-on, active position where you'll be out on farms and in Clonmore Yard. Whether you're leading your team or tackling challenges head-on, every day brings something new.
