Mechanical Engineer Role
This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work as part of a multi-disciplinary maintenance team.
* Responsible for a specific plant process area.
* Ensure preventative and predictive maintenance is completed efficiently.
* Plan major shutdowns/overhauls strategically.
* Manage contractors on specific jobs/projects effectively.
* Improve plant availability, troubleshoot, and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
Requirements:
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety protocols in heavy industry.
* At least 5 years' experience in a similar maintenance role.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven technical skills and strong commercial acumen.
* Excellent IT skills (MS Office, Autocad).
* Able to work independently with strong attention to detail while meeting project deadlines.
