Our client, a dynamic and expanding US multinational in the biotech/medtech sector, has engaged CPL to recruit a talented, energetic, and ambitious HR Manager to join their leadership team and head up their HR function in the mid-west.
The Job
As a key part of the site-based senior leadership team and reporting to the Global Head of HR, the successful candidate will oversee a broad remit across HR, including both hands-on and strategic duties. Responsibilities include leading the local HR team, engaging with global HR colleagues, managing complex HR projects, heading employee relations and IR functions, designing and delivering new HR policies and processes, overseeing compensation and benefits, training alignment, and managing internal and external recruitment processes.
As part of the site leadership team, you will also guide and coach departmental managers, ensure compliance with HR legislation and industry best practices, set strategic HR budgets, and support the corporate strategy to ensure the long-term success of HR and the Irish operation.
Your Skills/Experience Needed
* Minimum third-level degree in HR, business studies, or a related discipline; additional relevant qualifications are advantageous.
* At least 4 years’ experience as an HR Manager or 6+ years in a senior HR Business Partner role.
* Experience in med-tech, medical devices, pharma, or related sectors is beneficial but not essential.
* Proven ER and IR knowledge and experience.
* Excellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Strong attention to detail, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
* Ability to work independently and deliver HR projects effectively.
The Offer
The salary will depend on experience, approximately €95,000 to €115,000, with an excellent benefits package including pension, private healthcare, and additional perks. The role is initially offered as a 12- to 14-month contract.
This position offers a hybrid work model, with 3-4 days in the office and 1-2 days remote.
