AECOM currently has a requirement for a Project Electrical (Lighting) Engineer to join our growing Specialist Lighting division in Dublin. We continue to successfully win significant projects, where we have the opportunity to deliver innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.
Our success is built on the quality of our people, and we are looking for a first-class electrical engineer, with specialist lighting design experience, to fill this role.

We seek a self-motivated, ambitious, and creative graduate to work alongside experienced professionals. The position is based in our Dublin office, with consideration for Galway or Cork offices.

What you’ll do!
At AECOM, you’ll work on challenging, meaningful projects worldwide, applying your skills and innovative thinking.
Some projects include:
* Serpentine Gallery, London: Design and delivery of technical and feature lighting for a pavilion, collaborating with artists and architects like Sou Fujimoto, Smiljan Radic, and BIG.
* Parnell Cultural Quarter, Dublin: Design and delivery of architectural lighting.
* Dubai Expo 2020: Thematic public realm lighting design for sustainability and connection themes.
* Masdar City, Abu Dhabi: Lighting masterplan focusing on sustainability, placemaking, and activation of public realms, including collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Requirements:
* A degree in Design or Electrical Engineering with lighting design experience, preferably in consultancy. Specialist lighting training is a plus.
* Proficiency in lighting and electrical design tools such as DiaLux, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with BIM standards, Rhino, and 3DS Max is advantageous.
* Experience in artificial lighting design and daylight analysis, with a portfolio of small to medium projects.
* Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented.
* Results-driven with a responsibility mindset, committed to quality and client satisfaction.
