Job Summary Leadership support of the implementation of a quality management system and its effectiveness in meeting business, statutory, legal, and contractual requirements.

Key Job Responsibilities Accountable for delivering delegated elements of an annual business plan to time and budget.Provides strategic advice to senior leadership on quality assurance matters.Chairs quality assurance team meetings.Line management of quality assurance team members.Accountable for an external certification programme, leading specific activities.Oversees external certification account including budget, management, and certification strategy.Accountable for a suite of external audit programmes including preparation, managing, and liaising with key stakeholders.Oversees the development and implementation of suite of internal audit programmes.Manages investigations and root cause analysis of instances of non-conformance, including the identification of corrective measures and long-term preventative measures.Management of trend analysis meetings.Responsible for leading and reviewing management system content for appropriateness, improvement, and implementation.Contributes to the identification of new systems and processes and leads the development and implementation.Directs the completion of quality assurance reports to defined quality and accuracy levels and within agreed timeframes.Supports the delivery of the quality assurance communication strategy.Contributes to activities reported in management review, collating, analysing and presenting data and key metrics.Identifies and provides clear recommendations for action to mitigate risk and improve management system effectiveness.Provides expert technical expertise on business development activities.Drives the development and identification of training requirements, development of training materials and training delivery to upskill the business in quality and audit matters.Partners with multiple internal and external stakeholders, working in collaboration.Oversees and monitors supply chain performance, partnering and supporting suppliers' provision of training, guidance and audit and review of their QMS capabilities.Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.Key Job Dimensions Geographical scope of role: Global

Leadership Competencies Leadership ability, influencing skills, resilience, and meeting management.
Qualifications & Experience Degree or equivalent, auditor training, quality assurance, management system experience, line management, auditing, professional memberships.
