As a result of internal progression, they are now hiring for a Financial Controller, to sit at Group level based in their West Dublin offices. This is a key role in the finance function, with broad visibility across external reporting, month-end close, financial control, process improvement and acquisition activity. It will suit a technically strong finance professional who enjoys working in a complex multi-entity environment and partnering with senior stakeholders. What will your role involve: Lead group external reporting, including annual and interim financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements Manage the group audit process and oversee subsidiary statutory reporting across multiple entities Take ownership of the month-end close and consolidated management reporting process Strengthen balance sheet control, reporting accuracy and financial governance across the group Drive improvements across reporting processes, systems and internal controls, with a focus on standardisation and automation Support M&A activity, including due diligence, acquisition accounting and post-deal financial integration Partner with senior finance and business stakeholders across Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Internal Audit and divisional finance Lead, develop and mentor the Group Reporting team Is this you? Qualified Accountant, ideally with a Big 4 / Top 6 practice background (industry clients) Minimum 5 years PQE Previous experience in a Group Reporting / Group Finance role within a complex multi-entity environment Strong technical accounting knowledge across IFRS, consolidations, statutory reporting and financial controls Experience managing external audits and working with senior stakeholders Exposure to M&A and acquisition accounting would be advantageous Proven people management or team leadership experience Why apply for this role?
