A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head Chef/Senior Sous Chef has arisen in a South Dublin venue. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the culinary team and delivering exceptional food quality.
We are seeking someone who can cook to a very high standard, manage local produce suppliers effectively, and ensure excellent Food Costs (GPs) while minimizing wastage.
Duties:
* To lead by example as a hands-on Head Chef, ensuring all aspects of food preparation and service meet our standards
* To recruit, train, and develop new and existing staff members to achieve excellence in their roles
* Menu planning that meets customer preferences while maintaining profitability
* Sourcing the best products from trusted local suppliers
* To monitor KPIs closely to keep within budgets requirements
The ideal candidate should have previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in busy hotels or upscale restaurants.
Possessing strong financial acumen with proven track records of achieving good GPs is essential.
The candidate must demonstrate passion for cooking through menu ideas based on seasonal products.
