AsSenior Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a critical role in scaling manufacturing operations from prototype and low-volume builds to robust, repeatable production in support of a pivotal clinical trial.This is a hands-on role suited to an engineer who thrives in fast-paced, regulated environments and enjoys working cross-functionally across Manufacturing, R&D and Quality.The RoleReporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will focus on improving yield, eliminating bottlenecks, and embedding scalable, high-quality manufacturing processes. You will apply lean manufacturing principles, structured problem-solving methodologies, and data-driven decision-making to drive operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and report on manufacturing KPIs, driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, documentation, equipment uptime, throughput and yieldLead investigations into yield and process issues using methodologies such as Six Sigma, DMAIC, Shainin or similarTroubleshoot equipment issues and evolve preventive maintenance, IQ/OQ and equipment qualification practicesLead root cause investigations into non-conformances and implement sustainable corrective actionsTrain and mentor manufacturing team members on process optimisation and best practicesEssential Experience & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing or a related discipline5+ years' experience in a process or manufacturing engineering role within a regulated manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, ideally manual assembly of medical devicesProven experience using statistical analysis to optimise processesThis role offers excellent starting salary and a full suite of benefits including bonus, comprehensive health insurance, generous pension contribution and a chance to work with a top tier team.
