About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor with a strong background in industrial and process environments to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electrical technicians and contractors on site.
* Plan and oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in industrial/process/pharma facilities.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies.
* Manage materials, tools, and equipment for electrical works.
* Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults or breakdowns efficiently.
* Support project delivery within specified timeframes and budgets.
* Liaise with other disciplines (mechanical, instrumentation, civil) to ensure smooth project execution.
* Report to Project manager as required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Craft Certificate or QQI Level 6 – Advanced Certificate Craft in Electrical
* Minimum 5–10 years of experience in an industrial or process plant environment (manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceutical etc.).
* Proven experience in supervising electrical teams and managing site activities.
* Strong knowledge of PLC systems, MCCs, VSDs, MV installations, and motor controls.
* Solid understanding of electrical safety standards and industrial regulations.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work independently with minimal supervision.
* Excellent communication, planning, and leadership skills.
