GALRO provide professional clinical supports and services to vulnerable children and adults.
We are currently recruiting for a Safeguarding Officer to join our team on a full time basis.

Person Specification:
* The successful candidate will be of excellent character, with strong professionalism.
* Minimum of 3 years clerical or social care experience.
* Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and sound judgement.
* Experience scheduling and records meeting minutes.
* Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Enjoy working as part of a team and contributing positively to a collaborative work culture.

Key Responsibilities:
* Schedule meetings and take concise, professional minutes, for safeguarding meetings.
* Compile reports and summaries based on meeting notes and data collected.
* Participate in safeguarding processes, including screenings, communications, and reports.
* Maintain safeguarding data securely and help manage the SharePoint database.
* Generate monthly risk-based reports on accidents and incidents.
* Support a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and high professional standards.
* Liaise professionally with Senior Management, HR, Compliance and HSE Personnel.
Additional Notes:
* Completion of Designated Officer and Designated Liaison Person Training will be required (training provided).
