Pastry Chef Position
We are seeking a skilled Patisserie Professional to join our team at Druids Glen Resort. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for creating exquisite pastries and desserts, as well as excellent communication skills to work effectively with colleagues.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and present high-quality pastry products in accordance with hotel standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menus.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all guests receive outstanding dining experiences.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Excellent knowledge of pastry preparation, presentation, and plating techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor during peak periods.
• Recognized chef qualifications and strong training background.
• Good working knowledge of HACCP principles and practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
