Cafe head chefDay Hours -We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking individual with a strong commitment to quality, high standards, service and customer care to join our team. It will be the responsibility of the head chef to manage all aspects of the kitchen, including HACCP, training, food waste and quality control.We are a fast paced kitchen, our customer base is mainly passing trade including buses on a very popular tourist destination on the ring of Kerry during high season with a more local relaxed atmosphere during off season.Duties would include:Implementation of new brunch menu, an evening menu for spring/Summer and Daily Specials in line with up and coming food trendsfull accountability for the smooth operation of the kitchenupskilling all kitchen staff to create a high performing teamliaising with suppliers for orders and processing through our purchasing system onlinestock take and stock rotation systemscompliance with HACCP at all timesAll other duties that go with the daily running of a busy kitchen.There will be a heavy focus on the quality of service & cleanliness.Job Type: Full-timePay: €18.00-€20.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountFood allowanceHousing allowanceOn-site parkingAbility to commute/relocate:An Snaidhm, CO.
