This role is to ensure that company EHSQ policies and procedures are fully implemented. You will be part of a growing and experienced team that works to ensure that health and safety standards are in place and adhered to at all times.
What you would do:
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation
* Compile RAMS for all projects and ensure adherence to RAMS and task-specific SPAs
* Promote a positive health, safety, quality, and environmental culture across the Group
* Investigate and follow up on non-compliances, accidents, incidents, and near misses
* Review corrective actions from non-conformances
* Conduct weekly site inspections
* Ensure regular internal audits on projects, procedures, and sites
* Report on EHSQ performance of project teams and subcontractors, and recommend improvements to the EHSQ Manager
* Review EHSQ documentation from contractors and subcontractors
* Assist in compiling EHSQ reports and memos
* Analyze accident statistics and trends
* Maintain professional knowledge, including IOSH membership, conferences, publications, and networking
* Create and maintain the K&M document management system
* Develop EHSQ training requirements and programs for all departments
Qualifications:
* NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (essential)
* IOSH membership (desirable)
* Degree or diploma in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred)
* Knowledge of ISO 45001:2018, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and Safe T Cert
* Experience in building services, construction, or engineering sectors
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently
* Driving license and vehicle; willingness to travel
