Trigon Hotels is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance department in Cork. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of all hotel facilities, manage maintenance budgets, and uphold the highest standards of safety and guest satisfaction. How You'll Contribute
Lead and manage the maintenance department to ensure smooth hotel operations
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for all hotel facilities
Manage maintenance budgets and control costs
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations
Supervise and train maintenance staff
Liaise with external contractors and suppliers
Respond promptly to guest and operational maintenance requests
Support hotel development and refurbishment projects
What Makes You a Great Fit
Previous experience in maintenance management
Experience in a customer-facing environment; hotel or hospitality experience preferred
Strong knowledge of maintenance, housekeeping, facilities, and health & safety standards
Excellent organisational, flexibility, and adaptability skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with guests and staff
Desirable: Trainer qualification, Health & Safety qualification (First Aid, Manual Handling, Risk Assessor, etc.), 2-3 years' experience in a 4-star hotel, additional trade skills
