Job DescriptionThe Care Supervisor will manage our clients home care service requirements across Clare Limerick and North Tipperary.You will be responsible for:Ensure care staff rosters are prepared on a timely basis and communicated to staff.Familiarizing with care staff team to enhance the client and staff matching processGuide and Support the care staff to deliver effective services to our service users.Implement, observe, review and update care plansMonitoring, mediating, and logging both client and staff activity, and following up on staff assignments and client service-Conduct comprehensive induction training for all new care staff in line with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.-Ensure all mandatory and refresher carer training remains in date, including manual handling, safeguarding, infection prevention and control and any other required training-Oversee the recruitment process from start to finish, including screening applications, coordinating interviews, completing pre-employment checks (Garda Vetting, references, right to work), and supporting onboarding.-Schedule and coordinate staff training, ensuring minimal disruption to service delivery and full compliance with training requirements.-Organise, monitor, and schedule staff participation in QQI modules, maintaining accurate training records and liaising with training providers as required.-Attend recruitment events, open days, and career fairs, representing the organisation professionally, and actively engage with colleges, training providers, and community groups to promote care roles and support workforce development through presentations, talks, and information sessions.Report to and communicate with the management teamActively encouraging contact between staff & clients and the officeEnsure all support hours are covered including staff absences.Accurately entering and maintaining client and staff records in compliance with company policy.Dealing with emergency situations decisively and effectivelySharing on call duties as part of a team-Assisting with all office paper work in timely manner-Ability to Provide cover to Carer Support StaffYou will need to possess the following:Previous qualification in Healthcare level 5+ or Social Care Qualification / part qualification / Full Level 5/6 Health Care Award-Full driving License-Experience working in Home Care/Health care-Applicants shouldHave Good Office/Administration SkillsWork well under pressure in a fast paced environmentHave exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skillsHave demonstrated your ability to work on your own initiativeHave a Professional and Friendly demeanour and excellent telephone skillsHave outstanding communication skills and are committed to customer serviceBe committed to quality outcomes and achieving solutionsLove attention to detail and have shown that you can follow up and complete tasksHave proficient excellent IT & data entry skillsBe flexible, have a can-do positive attitudeEnjoy working in a small business, team oriented environmentDesirably Have Experience roistering part time staffJob Type: Full-timeSalary: Based on ExperienceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayShared on Call (Weekdays/Weekends)Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Company eventsCompany pensionEmployee assistance programEmployee discountOn-site parkingSick payWork Location: On the road
