Key Areas of Responsibility: Process and follow-up on haulage amendment forms, ensuring timely and accurate updates to haulage charges or delivery details. Work on SOX and non-SOX reports daily in collaboration with the relevant dispatch department, ensuring data accuracy and proper handling of compliance related tasks. Liaise with dispatch staff to confirm return load opportunities, optimize route planning and ensure that the haulier is paid for the return loads. Ensure that the haulier is accurately paid for the waiting times, chute work and split loads. POD dispatch dockets, ensuring accurate documentation is recorded and filed in a timely manner. Handle haulier payment queries, investigating and resolving discrepancies in coordination with the relevant transport teams. Assist with month end haulier reconciliation activities related to transport operations and carry out the other necessary tasks as instructed by the manager. Maintain clear email records and documentation for all transport related activities. Compile regression analysis of haulage rate tables for management overview The following knowledge, skills and competencies are required for this role: Strong communication and coordination skills Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Familiarity with dispatch or logistics software (e.g., TrackIt, Command Alkon) Understanding of SOX compliance in relation to transport and reporting Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and internal scheduling tools Knowledge of CVRT requirements and vehicle compliance processes.
