Anchor Childcare Centre is a community-focused, non-profit service dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable childcare and early education.
We are currently recruiting for a full time and part time childcare practitioner to join our team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Implement the centre's curriculum, ensuring a stimulating and age-appropriate learning experience for all children.
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment compliant with all regulatory standards.
Establish positive, warm, and supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Observe and document children's progress, preparing reports for parents and management as required.
Organise and lead engaging play and educational activities that support holistic child development.
A minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education is essential.
Proven experience working in a childcare or early years setting.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a patient and enthusiastic approach.
Must demonstrate excellent communication skills including written and spoken English as communication and record-keeping are essential to the role.
Must supply suitable references and be in a position to obtain Garda Vetting.
If you have lived outside Ireland for 6 months or more you must provide a clean Police Clearance Certificate from that country.
