About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Relief Cafe Manager to support the smooth running of our cafe during managers' absences, busy periods, and peak trading times.
This is a hands‑on leadership role, ideal for someone flexible, organised, and passionate about great food, coffee, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily cafe operations during relief shifts
Lead, motivate, and support the cafe team
Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues professionally
Manage opening and closing procedures
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and minimise wastage
Ensure food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are met
Handle cash, tills, and basic admin accurately
About You
Previous experience as a Cafe Manager, Supervisor, or Assistant Manager
Strong leadership and communication skills
Confident working independently and adapting quickly to new teams
Passionate about high‑quality service and standards
Flexible availability (including early mornings, weekends, or short notice cover)
