Job DescriptionAs a Trader I - Risk at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), you are here to help us create anentertaining betting proposition that appeals to Fanatics customers while appropriately managing betting limits, and overall trading risk. Reporting into Trading Managers, you will be an important team player, assisting the team with various tasks including data analysis, limit setting, customer profiling and pricing maintenance. Whatever your background, keeping the customer and colleague experience at the heart of everything you do is vital to succeed in this role. This is in an in office position - based out of Dublin, IreResponsibilitiesWork in a designated part of the Trading department, responsible for tasks related tomonitoring bets & managing prices andassessing customersHelp to test new sportsbook features and trading models, as well as provide input withthe wider teamContribute to the continuous improvement across the Trading department, assisting withautomation and identifying areas for advancement.Work closely with Commercial, Marketing, Product, Engineering and Operations teamsto create and implement a best-in-class, intuitive, and scalable betting experience for ourcustomers - driven by data, user research, and competitor analysisEnsure that Fanatics are putting the customer at the heart of our Trading strategiesAssisting other teams within the department where necessaryQualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent in a quantitative or business field.Experience in similar roles is preferredA real passion for sport, and an inherent understanding of what sports fans want in orderto be entertained.Ability to understand and interpret data, translating that data into actionable insightsAbility to test sportsbook platforms and help develop and test trading modelsPreference to work in an entrepreneurial, hyper growth environment where decisions aremade quicklyTeam-first mentality, with a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done andeffectively work cross-functionally across different teams at FBG and the larger FanaticsorganizationWillingness to ask questions and learn along with strong problem solving skillsFlexible work schedule will be required, including evenings, weekends, andHolidaysOpen to regular travel to events and other Fanatics offices for various offsite and team meetings
