We are currently recruiting an experienced Fashion Department Manager / Buyer to join our client's team, a successful retailer based in Galway.
As Fashion Department Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the womenswear department, ensuring a compelling product offering, excellent visual standards, and an exceptional customer experience.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment, has a strong eye for product selection, and enjoys driving sales through effective leadership, merchandising, and stock management.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Womenswear Department Select and curate womenswear ranges in line with current trends, customer demand, and commercial targets Work closely with senior management on product selection and range planning Oversee merchandising standards, in-store displays, and visual presentation Manage stock levels, stock control, and seasonal transitions Drive sales performance and achieve departmental targets Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver excellent customer service Ensure a consistently high standard of customer experience on the shop floor Requirements: 3+years' experience in fashion retail management Background in fashion product selection is advantageous Proven ability to drive sales Strong commercial awareness combined with a passion for fashion Confident decision-maker with a keen eye for detail The Package: Salary negotiable depending on experience Bonus Commission 21 days holidays
