Responsibilities
We are currently inviting applications for the position of Clinical Nurse Manager 2 – Clinical Facilitator for our Intensive Care unit. The Clinical Facilitator will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to lead a team of staff in the implementation and provision of the highest quality patient care in the CT service and Intensive Care unit. He/she must demonstrate excellent work practices and act as a role model, using the necessary skills to educate others through coaching, mentoring and clinical expertise.
Qualifications
Registered General Nurse – be on the live register with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
Demonstrable commitment to patient safety & quality.
Up to date knowledge in ICU nursing.
Higher Diploma in Intensive Care – desirable.
Previous experience in a cardiothoracic setting – preferable.
Management qualification/educational preparation to degree level – desirable.
Minimum 3 years experience in a people‑management role.
Proven leadership and change‑management skills.
Excellent knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and skills.
Ability to make decisions with excellent organisational skills.
Vision for development of service.
