The Mobile Cleaner/Driver will be required to travel to various site locations to undertake cleaning of
offices, communal areas, stairs, stairwells, toilets and any other assigned spaces. The role is physically demanding where you will be required to maintain the cleanliness to a high standard following the Health and Safety requirements and guidelines. You will also be required to drive to various sites as required transporting personnel and/or equipment/documents.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
* Compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSQE) requirements/guidelines.
* Compliance with relevant company policies and procedures.
* Adherence to HSQE briefs, safety documentation and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
relevant to your tasks.
* Comply with and complete on a daily basis, the work schedules or other instructions issued by the HSQE Advisor/Manager with regard to the cleaning frequencies of particular areas, to ensure the agreed standard of cleaning is delivered.
* Maintain a daily cleaning record.
* Use the supplied chemicals in a safe manner referring to Material Safety Data Sheets using
appropriate PPE provided.
* Stock control of all cleaning equipment and products.
* Replenish stock and consumables such as toilet tissue, hand soaps etc.
* Safe and correct storage, maintenance and use of cleaning materials, chemicals and equipment. (e.g. washing pads, dusters, mops and floor cloths issued.).
* Empty all bins appropriately in line with health & safety to ensure standards are maintained.
* Identify the collection schedules for bins to be put out for collection.
* Report any incidents and/or accidents to the HSQE Advisor e.g. health and safety issues.
* Complete and sign timesheets, attendance registers and other records as required.
* Vacuum, mop floors, dusting of window ledges, rails, skirting and glass panels
* Carry out weekly routine vehicle checks and ensure vehicle is maintained and report any defects.
* Ensure the vehicle is clean and presentable
* Assist with transporting documents, equipment and/or personnel between sites as and when
required
* Any other duties deemed appropriate by the HSQE Advisor/Manager.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Previous experience in Commercial Cleaning with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their usage.
* Excellent customer service with good verbal and written communication skills.
* Full Irish Driving Licence.
* Basic I.T. Skills.
* Ability to carry out work instructions issued by the HSQE Advisor/ Manager.
* Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to change when required
* Ability to undertake the physically demanding duties of general cleaning.
* Must be reliable, flexible and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
