About the Role
The Hotel Housekeeping Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Head Housekeeper in maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout the hotel. Key responsibilities include dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and ensuring that all towels and linen are refreshed as required.
* Dusting and polishing all surfaces to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
* Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and polishers efficiently and effectively
* Strip and remake beds with crisp and clean linens
* Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including sinks, toilets, showers, and bathtubs
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Head Housekeeper promptly
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and good communication skills. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in housekeeping or a related field, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
