About the role:
We're looking for someone curious, adaptable, and eager to learn about the world of travel retail. This position offers a unique opportunity to support one of our largest airline accounts, working closely with our Category Managers on retail programme strategy. You'll gain hands-on experience in executing, and tracking retail strategies, while contributing to the achievement of sales targets.
Job Requirements
Must have
* Recently graduated from a degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation, or a related field
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Good planning and organisational skills with attention to detail
* A flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach to tasks
* Working knowledge of Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
Nice to have
* Previous internship or work experience in a business, marketing, or project environment
* Exposure to or interest in aviation, travel, or retail
* Familiarity with project coordination or supporting complex projects
Job Responsibilities
* Support in the design and delivery of retail projects, working closely with the Retail Director and team
* Assist in setting up and maintaining the MPL (Master Price List), ensuring information is accurate and up to date
* Contribute to the creation of the inflight magazine, supporting with flat-plans, gathering marketing input, coordinating feedback, and liaising with suppliers, brand partners, and printers
* Support the planning of photo shoots and help coordinate the approval process for onboard brochures
* Prepare reporting on performance metrics, sales data, and insights for potential improvements
* Gather and summarise crew feedback, highlighting challenges and opportunities
* Collaborate with the crew engagement team to support the design of crew engagement initiatives, bringing in account insights
* Support procurement colleagues by identifying and tracking portfolio gaps
* Help develop and document project standards, ensuring clarity for delivery in a retail environment
* Assist with stakeholder communication during project delivery through to final handover
* Maintain project documentation, updating tasks, milestones, and feedback records
* Prepare simple reports and summaries for managers and stakeholders
* Build positive working relationships with team members and partners across the business
