Primary Responsibilities
Act as the
main contact
for all ESG and sustainability matters within GSI projects, coordinating efforts across internal teams and responding to stakeholder questions
Cultivate and manage
relationships with supply chain partners
to ensure they meet sustainability standards
Design and execute a
sustainability strategy
that aligns with GE Vernova's broader frameworks and goals
Develop
Sustainability Management Plans
and establish clear procedures and expectations for contractors
Lead efforts in
data collection, validation, and reporting
of sustainability-related metrics
Spearhead
decarbonization initiatives
and manage sustainability programs specific to each project
Work closely with various
GE Vernova business units
to maintain alignment and leverage cross-business opportunities
Monitor and report on the
progress of GRID-related sustainability goals
, providing updates to relevant stakeholders
Support commercial teams by addressing
customer sustainability inquiries
and requirements
Promote sustainability through
internal and external communication strategies
and
employee education programs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Sustainability, Management, Economics
, or a related field
Minimum of
5 years of professional experience
in sustainability within an industrial context; experience in
GRID or power generation
is preferred
Excellent command of
English
(both written and spoken); knowledge of
German
is an asset
Proven expertise in crafting and implementing
sustainability strategies
, while managing projects with
multiple moving parts
Strong
stakeholder engagement
and
communication skills
, especially in multicultural environments
Proficiency with
IT tools
for sustainability reporting and documentation
Demonstrated
leadership and collaboration skills
across functional teams
Willingness to
travel up to 10%
for project-related needs
