Senior M&A Analyst
Are you a qualified accountant with strong commercial acumen and an interest in M&A? Our client, a growing life and pensions business based in North Tipperary, is hiring a Senior M&A Analyst on a 6-month contract, with high potential for permanency.
This role offers a great opportunity to work closely with leadership, manage acquisitions end-to-end, and support strategic finance integration across the business.
The Job:
Reporting to the CFO and based full-time on-site in North Tipperary, your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the financial and tax aspects of acquisitions from due diligence to post-acquisition integration.
* Managing all finance-related due diligence activities and engaging directly with sellers and advisors.
* Supporting legal processes, including reviewing financial elements of Share Purchase Agreements (SPA).
* Helping to integrate new businesses into the company’s finance operations and systems.
Your Skills/Experience that we need:
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• 2+ years’ minimum PQE in a finance role — M&A or transaction services experience a plus (but not essential).
• Strong analytical and commercial skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communicator and confident working with multiple stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
The Offer:
This is a full-time, on-site contract role based in North Tipperary (Monday–Friday), with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent. Salary will reflect experience and can be discussed on inquiry. Some travel may be required.
