About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Main Contractor in the West and Mid-West of Ireland, specializing in Public Works and Pharma Contracts.
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to manage on-site Construction Activities, ensuring Project Milestones are met. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Contracts Manager/Company Directors to ensure smooth-running projects.
* Supervise and Co-Ordinate Subcontractors, Suppliers, and Trades.
* Manage EHS as per Company and Industry standards.
* Ensure Quality Control and adherence to Project Specifications.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Managing on-site construction activities to meet project milestones.
2. Working closely with contracts manager/company directors to ensure smooth-running projects.
3. Supervising and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and trades.
4. Managing health and safety (EHS) according to company and industry standards.
5. Ensuring quality control and adherence to project specifications.
6. Managing site records, progress reports, and day-to-day problem-solving.
7. Monitoring project costs and ensuring resources are used efficiently.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Degree qualified in Construction Management or having a trade background + previous Site Management experience.
* 5+ years of Construction experience as a Site Manager/Foreman.
* Strong knowledge of Construction Practices, Regulations, and Safety Standards.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain project schedules.
