Graduate Finance Executive | Public Sector

Key responsibilities will include the following:
1. Process overseas accounts and petty cash accounts. Ensure that interim returns are received on a timely basis for budget reporting purposes and for audit purpose.
2. Oversee the reconciliation of overseas bank and petty cash accounts to the general ledger on a monthly basis.
3. Assist in training new administrative staff in overseas offices regarding monthly bank and petty cash returns.
4. Liaise with overseas staff and office administrators to ensure that bank and petty cash returns are received on a timely basis.
5. Deal with staff queries efficiently and effectively.
6. Continue to manage the Debtor book management through the Centos Sales Ledger, debtor cash allocations and assist in the ongoing debtor reporting/reconciliations.
7. Assist in the monitoring and reconciliation of Debtor accounts on a monthly basis and the associated PMC/RDPC reporting
8. Other ad hoc duties that may be assigned related to overseas banks and overseas staff payments.
Interested candidates will meet the following requirements:
9. A third level business related qualification to Level 7 standard on the National Qualification Framework is essential.
10. Strong ambition to pursue a career in finance / accounting.
11. Proficiency and experience in the use of Word, Excel and financial software together with a good understanding of Information Management.
12. Team player with initiative and ability to solve problems.
13. Excellenet interpersonal skills and communication skills.
14. Ability to continually improve and develop in all areas of financial reporting, financial processing and financial control.
15. Ability to work well under pressure.
This permanent role will have a salary scale starting at €31,545 rising with service to €59,911 along with a hybrid working model (2 days a week working from home) and benefits
