OverviewThis role is an EHS Advisor for a pharmaceutical construction project in Dublin. It involves managing health, safety, and environmental compliance on a high-specification, cleanroom-focused build, including process systems installation, commissioning, and qualification activities. The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract with English language requirements and Irish legislative, GMP, and client safety standard adherence expectations.Base payThe pay range is provided by ERSG Ltd and actual pay will be based on skills and experience.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement site-specific EHS plans in line with client, company, and regulatory standards.Monitor and manage high-risk activities, such as confined space entry, chemical handling, working at height, and commissioning.Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections; document findings and drive improvements.Maintain EHS records including RAMS, permits, incident reports, training records, and safety observations.Lead site inductions and deliver toolbox talks tailored to pharmaceutical-specific risks.Work with subcontractors to promote a shared culture of safety and compliance.Investigate incidents and near-misses with robust root cause analysis and follow-up actions.Interface with the client's EHS team and regulatory bodies as required.Support environmental compliance, including waste management, dust control, and chemical storage.RequirementsMinimum 5 years' experience in EHS roles within pharmaceutical, biotech, or high-spec cleanroom construction projects.Recognised EHS qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent).Strong knowledge of Irish EHS legislation, GMP requirements, and construction safety best practices.Proven ability to coordinate with multiple subcontractors and uphold high safety standards.Fluent English with excellent communication and reporting skills.Experience supporting commissioning, qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), or handover phases is highly desirable.What We OfferCompetitive hourly rate or fixed-term contract.Opportunity to work on a cutting-edge pharmaceutical facility.Career development within a leading global contractor.Collaborative and safety-driven project culture.Equal Opportunity Employer: ERSG is an equal opportunities employer; we do not discriminate on age, sex, race, disability, pregnancy, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or religious background; all decisions are based on merit.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionOtherIndustriesCivil Engineering
