The Roles
Working closely with the construction management team, you will be responsible for the on-site control, coordination, and delivery of building elements across projects. Senior Site Engineers will also take on additional leadership and supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Setting out, levelling, and quality control, including concrete testing (cube sampling, slump testing, etc.).
* Checking shuttering, steelwork, and dimensions prior to concrete pours, and maintaining materials reconciliation records.
* Reviewing plans and drawings to ensure accuracy of calculations and construction details.
* Maintaining site records, including site diaries and document uploads to the DMS.
* Supervising directly employed staff, subcontractors, and setting out engineers (Senior role).
* Liaising with subcontractors, clients, design teams, and other construction professionals.
* Overseeing quality control, health & safety, environmental, and site compliance in line with our client's policies.
* Supporting temporary works coordination (Senior role).#
Requirements
Site Engineer
* Engineering qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* 2–3 years' experience with a building contractor.
* Strong IT skills and experience using surveying and setting out equipment.
Senior Site Engineer
* Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
* 4+ years' experience as a Site Engineer with a Main Contractor.
* Proven experience with total stations, GPS, and laser levels.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative.
