The Roles Social Care Manager / Deputy Managerwill: Lead and manage daily operations of the centre, supporting the PIC (Deputy Manager) or independently (Manager).
Supervise, mentor, and develop staff, promoting reflective practice and accountability.
Ensure compliance with HIQA, Health Act 2007, Children First Act, Disability Act 2005, GDPR, and other relevant legislation.
Champion person-centred planning, inclusion, and dignity for service users.
Contribute to audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.
Deputise for the PIC where required (Deputy Manager role).
Requirements Level 7 or higher qualification in Applied Social Care (CORU-approved) or related field (Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Youth & Community Work).3+ years post-qualification experience in social care or disability services, including supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and relevant legislation.
Full, clean driving license.
Management qualification (or enrolment) preferred.
