General Summary
This is a Software Test Engineer position. In this role the candidate works on a team responsible for testing QTI security solutions on Qualcomm chipsets. The role involves a good mix of hands‑on testing of the products and software development of test cases and automation using a combination of C/C++, Python and XML.
Please note this role will require 5 days per week onsite in our Cork office
Responsibilities
* Design test plan to validate security protocol and algorithm and its interaction with other applications.
* Develop and implement test applications at both API level and system level using C and C++. Automate test cases in Python.
* Test execution, troubleshooting and problem resolution on embedded software platforms.
* Interact in a team environment with developers, system engineers and testers.

Preferred Qualifications
* 2+ years experience in C, C++ and Python.
* Knowledge of cryptography and security protocol is a plus.
* Team player, work independently with minimum supervision.
* Verbal and written communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
