Expert Vehicle Fitter
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Electrician & Vehicle Accessory Fitter to join our busy workshop. The successful candidate must be able to carry out all installation and wiring work to the highest professional standard.
Key Responsibilities
The position is varied and will involve a range of hands-on fitting and auto-electrical tasks:
* Towbar Installation: Expert fitting and wiring of a variety of towbars onto commercial vehicles and vans.
* Auto-Electrical Tasks: Comprehensive wiring of interior and exterior lighting systems and general auto-electrical maintenance/installation.
* Advanced Systems: Installation of complex systems, including power inverter systems and fuel burning heaters.
* Accessory Fitting: Fitting and installation of roof racks, ladder racks, security systems, and other commercial vehicle accessories.
* Interior Fit-Out: Installation of ply lining kits and shelving/storage systems in vans.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following non-negotiable experience:
* Proven Experience in Towbar Fitting (installation and wiring).
* Strong Auto Electrical Experience and knowledge.
* Ability to carry out work meticulously to the highest professional standard.
* Familiarity with working on a wide range of vans and commercial vehicles.
* Strong work ethic and the ability to contribute positively as a member of a close team.
