TJ O' Mahony Ballymount, Ballymount Retail Centre, Ballymount, Co. Dublin, D24 X39K, part of HPC Sales Ltd., Ireland's leading Building Materials Providers and Home Improvement/DIY Store, is looking for a full‑time, temporary Van Driver to join our team.
Job Purpose
Provide deliveries to our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Check order and dockets before departure.
Ensure deliveries are delivered on time.
Ensure all PODs are signed and returned to the office on time.
Complete daily vehicle and load checks and report any incidents on the day.
Ensure loads are secured pre‑departure in compliance with Health and Safety and Road Safety.
Multi‑drops and branch‑to‑branch runs.
Drive long and/or short distances.
Plan delivery schedules and routes with the Branch Manager.
Handle freight in a safe, efficient manner.
Assist with loading and unloading goods.
Build excellent customer relationships.
Requirements
Full Clean Driving License.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time‑keeping.
Highly motivated and able to meet deadlines.
Team player with the ability to work independently.
Problem‑solving skills.
Good knowledge of surrounding roads.
Hours
40 hours per week (Monday – Saturday)
Fixed‑Term
Temporary, one month
