Job Role:
This is a technical support position focused on complex automation assembly equipment, ensuring high levels of equipment reliability and quality product with minimal defects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert technical assistance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime of automation equipment.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including documentation and record-keeping in accordance with GMP standards.
* Ensure that all preventive maintenance and calibration tasks are completed 100% on time.
* Collaborate with the team to identify process improvements and implement more efficient operations.
* Support the commissioning of new equipment and projects as needed.
* Manage spare parts inventory and maintain flexibility to work with various equipment and technologies.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and train others as required.
* Be prepared to work a flexible schedule and travel to support new equipment and/or training.
Requirements:
* Level 6 HETAC qualification in mechanical, control and automation engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or other suitable technical discipline
* A minimum of 6 months' hands-on experience in pneumatics, electronics, hydraulics, programmable controllers, servo motor drives, vision systems, ultrasonic welding or workshop machining
* Background in mechanical / electrical / high volume automation / robotics
