Job Description:
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for performing various functions associated with all manufacturing processes, including supporting manufacturing lines, root causing nonconforming products, and monitoring line performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Observe and comply with all safety rules and regulations, including Quality Systems Registrars (QSR) and ISO standards.
* Identify and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
* Perform equipment setup, maintenance, and calibration.
* Install and validate equipment and processes to improve yield and reduce cycle time.
* Evaluate operating data to make on-line adjustments and develop or revise procedures.
* Certify manufacturing associates in production processes.
* Evaluate and order necessary equipment, tools, and fixtures.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A NFQ level 6 qualification in a relevant discipline.
* Basic technical knowledge and understanding of products or systems.
* The ability to use data and software to resolve routine problems.
* Solid problem-solving skills with limited scope.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
