We currently have an opportunity for a Machine Minder to join the Night Shift team in the Kill/Evis section.
The Role
The Machine Minder is responsible for the day-to-day operation, care, and performance of production equipment within the Kill/Evis area by focusing on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous improvement to maximise uptime, efficiency and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain production machinery and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
* Monitor machine performance, troubleshooting equipment issues and escalating to Engineering when required.
* Carry out inspections, cleaning, lubrication, minor repairs, set-ups and changeovers.
* Work closely with Operators, Team Leaders and Engineering to reduce downtime.
About You
* Background in FMCG, food production, or live operations preferred.

o Experience in asset care or similar role.

o Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
*
o IT skills (MS Office).
*
o Strong problem solving and decision-making skills along with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
*
o Available to work nights from 11:00pm – 7:00am.
