An exciting opportunity exists for an ambitious and analytical FP Analyst to join a dynamic finance team in Longford. This is a pivotal role that requires strong commercial finance skills and the ability to contribute to data-driven decision making.
Working closely with the Group FP Manager, you will play a key part in supporting financial planning, performance analysis and strategic insight across the business.
This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a hybrid work arrangement of 2 days on site and 3 days from home.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct day-to-day commercial and operational analysis (sales, margin, overheads, promotions, profitability)
* Assist with annual budgets, forecasting cycles and long-term planning
* Prepare variance analysis and performance reporting for senior leadership
* Develop and maintain weekly and monthly KPI reporting
* Create financial models to evaluate performance and trends
* Deliver ad-hoc financial and commercial analysis to inform strategy
* Contribute to continuous improvement across the finance function
Requirements:
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified
* 1–3 years' experience in a finance role, ideally FMCG or manufacturing
* Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
* Advanced Excel; familiarity with BI tools an advantage
* Comfortable working with large datasets
