About the Role:
We are seeking a Pricing Actuary to join our Retail Pricing Team. As a key member of this team, you will work alongside pricing actuaries, trainee pricing actuaries, and analysts to deliver best-in-class pricing analysis for our Retail Lines of Business, including Private Car, Home, Van, and Pet.
Key Responsibilities:
* Run established processes, data preparation, reconciliation, and reporting
* Prepare data for pricing analysis using relevant data manipulation languages like SAS, R, or Python
* Make best use of available and emerging datasets to develop innovative pricing approaches and identify emerging pricing issues in the market
* Automate and enhance processes to improve efficiencies
* Build and refresh technical models in line with Allianz Global P&C best practice approach
* Manage and update pricing tariffs
* Follow appropriate governance, sign off, and execution of price changes
* Perform impact analyses of any change to pricing models
* Communicate the effect of model changes to senior managers, ensuring the impact of any changes is well understood and documented
* Collaborate with product portfolio managers, sharing knowledge and developing new products and solutions to business problems
* Support organizational-wide strategic projects with technical pricing knowledge
Requirements & Qualifications:
* Recently Qualified Actuary
* Demonstrated competency with relevant pricing and data manipulation software, e.g., Emblem, SAS, R, Python
* Demonstrated experience in communicating and delivering technical solutions to business stakeholders
