Job Title
We are seeking a skilled Pre-Assessment Nurse to join our team on a fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will work as part of the nursing and multidisciplinary team, providing evidence-based care to patients attending pre-operative testing assessments.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations, identifying any potential risks or existing medical conditions that may impact surgical outcomes.
* Cordinate required preoperative tests, blood screenings, MRI& MRSA screening and imaging.
The nurse will also be responsible for recognizing and escalating any potential risks with appropriate consultants and anaesthetists while ensuring surgeries are adequately prepared.
