We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Professionally Qualified Social Worker (PQSW) to join our team in a CDNT based at Enable Ireland Children's Services, Curraheen, Cork.
Contract Type: Temporary- 1 year Fixed Term
Contract Hours: Part time 25hrs per week
Salary Scale: €46,482 to €67,823pro rata per annum.
Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments)
This pay scale is subject to increases in **** in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.
Annual Leave Entitlement: 34 days
Overview of the Post:
The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a Social Work service via the various teams, including assessment and intervention to children accessing the service meeting the ongoing complex and challenging needs of children and families.

The successful candidate will have
Essential Criteria:
Must be registered in the Social Work Register maintained by the Social Work Registration Board at CORU.
AND
Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Social Workers Register maintained by the Social Workers Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
AND
Must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
Annual registration: On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Social Workers Register maintained by the Social Workers Registration Board at CORU
Must be eligiable to work in the State
Desirable Criteria:
Experience of interdisciplinary team working.
Minimum of 1 years' experience working in the disability sector.
Minimum 1 years' experience working with children with disabilities and their families.
Experience working with children and their families.
Experience working with children with disabilities
