The Trainee PA will provide efficient and professional secretarial and administrative support to the PAs and fee-earning teams. The role primarily involves ensuring core tasks are completed accurately and efficiently under the supervision of the PA Manager.
Key responsibilities
* Act as a point of contact within assigned groups, assisting colleagues and obtaining key information.
* Support the PAs and Business Development teams with coordination of activities and small events.
* Arrange internal and external meetings and manage room bookings.
* Proofread work to maintain high standards of accuracy and presentation.
* Understand and adhere to internal systems and policies.
* Provide general administrative support.
* Establish and maintain electronic filing and administration systems.
* Communicate confidently and professionally at all times.
* Share knowledge proactively and communicate workload issues with line managers.
* Support a collaborative team environment by offering assistance to colleagues.
* Ensure telephones are answered promptly and professionally.
* Contribute to team objectives and understand KYC/risk and compliance requirements.
* Assist with billing processes and develop billing knowledge.
* Maintain understanding of Business Development resources and best practices.
* Manage contacts in Outlook and Interaction.
* Assist with and attend client events as required.
