As part of a team of over 900, you will be encouraged to learn and to grow, both professionally and personally.About the roleAn exciting opportunity has arisen within our growing business for an IT Enterprise Application Architect to join the IT Team reporting into the CIO.RequirementsAbout YouThe successful candidate will have:· In depth knowledge of IT business applications including integration, security and cloud-based infrastructure· Strong knowledge of Financial Services technology, ideally in the Wealth Management sector· Experience engaging with senior stakeholders up to and including Board· Strong experience in solution evaluation and product selectionResponsibilities:· Define and enforce architecture principles, policies, and governance processes for the application landscape.· Provide guidance for major projects to ensure they align with enterprise-wide goals and principles, and that architectural consistency is maintained.· Evaluate, select, and integrate new and existing enterprise applications and systems.· Collaborate with business and application owners to ensure solutions align with current & future business needs· Create and update the overall application architecture strategy, including enterprise-wide application architecture frameworks· Communicate complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making· Conduct impact analyses for new business requirements and technology changes on the application landscape.· Maintain a repository of architecture artifacts, models, and documentation.· Lead Architectural Review Board deliberationsRequirementsExperience required:· 10+ years of experience in App Development/Implementation role· Strong experience in planning & implementing successful projects· In depth experience in aligning CRM (ideally Salesforce) platforms with business needsNon-Technical skills required:Problem Solving· An ability to engage the process and best practice associated with creative problem solving.· Strong technical skills are required to understand the infrastructure environment and meet the organisation's needs.Communications· A clear understanding of how to identify business needs and drivers and how to deal effectively with a variety of situations.· An awareness of the needs of developing professional relationships· Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skillsBenefitsWhat we offerAt Davy, our people are our biggest investment.
