Accounts and Sales Manager – Enterprise Solutions
Location: Cork (Permanent)
Compensation: Strong base salary + performance bonus + commission
The Opportunity
This is a senior, commercially focused Account Manager role within a business evolving from a traditional recruitment model toward a more consultative, enterprise-led services approach.
The organisation has established frameworks and signed agreements across several clients, some of these accounts have limited current business. The role is focused on activating these accounts, opening new doors, and converting access into measurable revenue.
The successful candidate will combine a strong hunter mentality with trusted advisor credibility, building deep senior relationships, understanding client technology and workforce strategies, and positioning broader solutions such as contractor hiring, managed teams, and project-based delivery.
This is not a passive account management role. It requires someone with proactive business development drive, commercial instinct, and resilience, capable of generating growth within complex enterprise environments.
Role Overview
The Account Manager will take ownership of key enterprise accounts while also identifying new opportunities.
Although commercial frameworks and agreements exist, the core objective is to turn signed accounts into active, revenue-generating relationships. This requires someone who can open doors, expand engagement across buying centres, and influence senior stakeholders as a trusted partner.
The role demands confidence operating with CIOs, programme directors, and other senior decision-makers, coupled with the ability to understand and shape client recruitment and workforce needs.
Key Responsibilities
Account Ownership & Growth
Take full commercial ownership of enterprise accounts
Convert existing agreements into active revenue
Build senior-level relationships and act as a trusted advisor
Develop and execute account growth strategies
Business Development
Identify and shape new opportunities within accounts
Expand footprint across divisions, programmes, and buying centres
Lead consultative discussions around recruitment, workforce, and transformation needs
Position higher-value solutions including contractor hiring, managed teams, and project delivery
Client Engagement & Delivery
Understand client technology priorities and workforce planning requirements
Run structured intake conversations to generate actionable briefs
Work closely with recruitment and sourcing teams to ensure delivery excellence
Maintain high standards of service and client satisfaction
Candidate Profile
Experience
Enterprise account management or business development experience within IT recruitment, staffing, consulting, or professional services
Strong understanding of contractor hiring, recruitment delivery, and workforce solutions
Exposure to technology programmes or transformation projects advantageous
Capabilities
Strong hunter mentality with proven ability to activate underperforming accounts
