Field Service Engineer
Job Function:
Deliver excellence every day to customers by commissioning, fault-finding, servicing, maintaining, repairing, calibrating, and validating equipment and applications across the company's portfolio.

Electrical qualification
Skills & Experience
2–3 years' experience in electrical and mechanical work
Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical customers
Experience or willingness to write clear and concise reports
Awareness of health & safety risks on client properties
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry (desirable)
Duties & Responsibilities
Service & Commissioning
Deliver a complete level of service to customers on site, including commissioning, fault-finding, servicing, maintaining, repairing, calibrating, and validating equipment and applications
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering service excellence
Maintain accurate records and complete required service documentation and reports
Manage and maintain a stock of spare parts and consumables in the service vehicle
Participate in the On-Call Engineer rota
Identify and report potential revenue opportunities and new site developments
Share customer feedback, sales leads, and training needs with the service leadership team
Provide briefings, inductions, and training to customers and colleagues when required
Support departmental improvements and comply with changes to service operations
Provide technical support by phone when needed
Review technical documentation and write reports in English
Attend training courses to build knowledge of the company's equipment and applications
Health & Safety
Follow all health, safety, and quality regulations, policies, and procedures
Ensure equipment and products are left safe for customer use
Adhere to site-specific rules and participate in inductions where required
Represent the company professionally at all times, wearing supplied branded clothing and PPE
Ad Hoc Duties
Provide cover for colleagues within the service team, including travel to client sites across Ireland
Attend meetings and training events that may require overnight stays
Carry out any other duties as required
