The role is based in Dublin, but the team works remotely as part of a hybrid working model. We are seeking a talented Actuary to join our dynamic team in Dublin, reporting to the Head of Reserving & Capital.
As a member of our actuarial function, you will play a key role in:
* Reserving and data analysis
* IFRS17 and regulatory reporting
* Profitability monitoring and planning
* Capital modelling using the company's Solvency II Internal Model
You will gain exposure to all aspects of the actuarial function, working closely with colleagues in finance, claims, pricing, and underwriting both domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
Mastering internal models and frameworks, driving enhancements within robust process setups.
Executing IFRS17-related quarter-end reserving processes and preparing Group reporting requirements.
Engaging in actuarial/Solvency II elements of business planning and steering, anticipating and communicating potential changes in quarter-on-quarter results impacting business metrics.
Supporting the automation of actuarial processes including Group reporting.
Contributing to annual calibration of Solvency II internal model and associated reporting requirements.
Participating in local initiatives and international group projects, fostering strong working relationships with stakeholders.
Developing and refining actuarial models/processes in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Maintaining procedure documentation in accordance with changes in approaches, emerging best practices, and evolving regulatory environments.
