Data Engineer

What You’ll Do:
* Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to capture and analyze data layer requirements.
* Design and deploy ETL processes using tools like SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
* Build conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support various products.
* Develop and maintain schemas, tables, views, indexed views, and stored procedures using T-SQL and advanced techniques.
* Continuously explore and adopt new tools and technologies to support organizational data needs.
* Create and maintain detailed documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and data models.
* Promote best practices in coding standards, code reviews, and testing.
What We’re Looking For:
* 2+ years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on databases and MS SQL Server.
* Proficiency in T-SQL and developing ETL processes using SSIS or similar tools.
* Hands-on experience with logical and physical data modeling, including dimensional models and slowly changing dimensions.
* Familiarity with modern data solutions, including Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Flows, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL.
* Exposure to Agile Scrum, version control, and DevOps/DataOps practices.
